Ruby Darlene Belew, age 76, of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at Countryside Health and Rehab. She was born in Blytheville, Arkansas on March 29, 1949, to the late Elmer Smith and Ruby Hull Smith.
Ruby was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished spending time with her family. Her love for cooking was evident in her homemade dumplings, gravy, fried bologna, and fried chicken. She also found joy in reading and will be remembered for her warm and loving nature.
She is survived by her daughters, Amanda (Darryl) Brown and Tracy (Tim) Morgan, as well as her grandchildren, Brady (Parker) Brown, Darra (Lane) Freeman, TJ (Amber) Morgan, Tessa (Hunter) Suratt, and Addy Morgan. Her great-grandchildren, Ransen Runions, Hadley Morgan, Ruby Charlene Suratt, Jetson Suratt, and Sawyer Freeman, will miss her dearly. Ruby also leaves behind her beloved dog, Winston, and numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Inman.
