Mrs. Betsy Wells Rowland, age 68, of Chapel Hill, TN, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026. Born in Pulaski, TN, she was the daughter of the late James Dugger Wells and Mary Ellen Griffin Wells.
Mrs. Rowland was a retired Administrative Assistant in the publishing industry. She cherished her retirement and found immense joy in being a BeBe to her grandchildren. Her love for her flower gardens and passion for reading were also defining aspects of her life. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Bobby Ray Rowland of Chapel Hill, TN; her two daughters, Rayanna Rowland and Reilly (Josh) Overstreet, both of Chapel Hill, TN; and her three grandchildren, Sully, Hatcher, and Myles Overstreet.
The family will be receiving visitors on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 4 PM – 8 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, at 1 PM at the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home, followed by burial at the Rowland Cemetery near Eagleville, TN.
