Christine Rose Graham Gentry, 85, passed away on July 19, 2025, at Life Care Center of Columbia. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, finding joy in spending time with her loved ones. Christine was a homemaker who cherished her faith and attending church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Betty Rose; her brothers, Donald, Floyd, Lloyd, Mark, and Royce; her sisters, Helen Fralix, Sallywill Fralix, and Louise Rogers; her son, JW Workman; daughter, Linda Mae Workman; her first husband, James W. Graham; her second husband, James Gentry; two step-sons, Steve and Paul Graham; and two step-daughters, Linda and Donna.
Christine is survived by her two sons, Doug Workman and Terry Graham; five daughters, Susan Irelan, Allene Pitts, Maries James, Angela Cromwell, and Stacy Belew; four step-children, Patsy, Pam, Mike, and Larry; nineteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home, with funeral services to be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 23, 2025. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Giles County, TN. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
