Mr. Gregory “Greg” Denis Gentry of Pulaski was born on June 8th, 1953 to Henry Albert Gentry and Gladys Black Nelson Gentry. He entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 27, 2024.
Greg graduated from Giles County High School in Pulaski TN. He attended Tennessee State University in Nashville TN.
He left Pulaski TN and went to Los Angeles California where he was employed by Hughes Helicopters for several years.
Greg accepted Jesus at an early age.
He was a fun, loving, intelligent and gentle spirited man. He had an infectious smile that sometimes leaned on the side of being a mischievous smirk. He loved music and everything about music. He could name a song just by hearing the first few notes. He would take audio equipment apart and rebuild his own audio systems that would sound like a professional concert.
He believed in being courteous and helping his neighbor. If he had something and a neighbor or friend needed it. It was theirs. He was a gentleman and will be truly missed.
He leaves to cherish: a devoted daughter Tara (Marvin) Ewing of Smyrna TN and four grandchildren; brothers Lawrence (Gwendolyn) Nelson of Columbia, MD and Stephen (Rose) Gentry of Columbus, OH and several Nieces and Nephews, other relatives and many friends.
The memorial service for Mr. Gregory “Greg” Denis Gentry will be held on Saturday,
