Cleo Frances White, age 98, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025, at her residence. Cleo was a dedicated member of Deerfield Baptist Church for 83 years and retired from Farmers Home Administration as a District Loan Specialist. She was known for her love of crocheting, cooking, and managing the financials for Mac Brown Photographers. Cleo cherished her family, including her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Brown (Mac) of Lawrenceburg, TN; son, Gilbert White (Terrie) of Lawrenceburg, TN; grandchildren, Rebecca Catherine Brown-Weaver (Jason) of Leoma, TN, Kristin Elizabeth White Lyons (John) of Navarre Beach, FL, and Tyler Jacob White (Tiffany) of Lawrenceburg, TN; great-grandchildren, Southerlin Catherine Weaver and Gabriel Eugene White; brothers, Pate Alley and Delton Alley of Lawrenceburg, TN; sister, Dean Marlor of Lawrenceburg, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
Cleo was preceded in death by her husband, Gene White, and her parents, W.W. and Annie Green Alley.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, and a graveside service will be held at Deerfield Cemetery at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 24, 2025, with Tyler White and Mike Smith officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Cleo Frances White will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
