Roberta Norwood Brown, 88, of Leoma, TN, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at her home after a prolonged illness. She was born in Lawrence County, TN, and was a farmer and a devoted member of Blooming Grove Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 1:00 pm, with James Lemay officiating. Burial will follow in Second Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Loretto Memorial Chapel.
Roberta is survived by her son, Randy Brown (DeAnna) of Calhoun, LA, and her daughter, Patty Shelton (Barry) of Leoma, TN. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter V Brown, her parents, Bob Taylor and Maudine Glass Norwood, and her brother, Taylor R. Norwood.
Roberta will be remembered for her love of farming, her dedication to her church, and her cherished role as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
