Dean Nix, 87, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on March 26, 2025, at Southern TN Regional Health System. Dean was a beloved member of the community, known for her dedication to her family and her faith. She was a past member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ and a current member of Salem Church of Christ. Dean found joy in sewing, traveling, and spending time with her relatives.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Edwin Nix, and her son, Richard and Felecia Nix. Dean was preceded in death by her parents, Hobart Vestal and Lillie Roberts Craig, as well as her sister, Carol Francis Cothran, and her brother, Gene Craig.
The family will receive friends at Neal Funeral Home on Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with funeral services to follow at 11:00 AM. Dean will be laid to rest at John Lay Cemetery in Ethridge, TN.
Dean will be deeply missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Dean’s memory.
