Donnie Long, 65, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at his residence. He was a retired lineworker from Murray Ohio and a beloved member of the community. Donnie was a native of Lawrence County, TN, and had a passion for riding his Harleys, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife, Terry Long; children Sara Dollar, Shane Long, Shannon Long, Cody Long, and Casey Anderson; step-daughter Kacey Kephart; siblings Peggy Johns, Linda Clark, and Ronnie Long; fifteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren with one on the way; and his fur baby, Boss. Donnie was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert Long and Alma Jean Ashmore Henderson, and twin brothers, Kerry Long and Gary Long.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Macedonia Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM at the church, with interment to follow at Macedonia Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN.
