Eric Nathan Stoll, 36, of Pulaski, TN, passed away suddenly on August 8, 2025, after being tragically hit by a pickup truck during his morning run. Born on May 23, 1989, Eric was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He was a man of strong faith, passion, and love for the outdoors, cherishing the beauty of a sunrise during his morning runs and finding solace in quiet moments with God.
Eric was the founder of Old South Wood Preserving, a business he tirelessly built and nurtured. He was a member of the Goodspring Mennonite Church and deeply cherished by his wife, children, family, friends, employees, and community.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Frieda (Smoker) Stoll, and their precious children Howard Anthony, Heather Abigail, Heidi Anne, Gilbert John, and Gabriel Eliot Stoll. Eric is also survived by his parents, John and Ruth Stoll, and a large extended family including siblings, in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
Eric was preceded in death by his infant son, Gregory Nathan Stoll, his infant sister Malinda Stoll, his mother-in-law Carol Smoker, and his brother-in-law Marlin Smoker.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Mars Hill Baptist Church, with funeral services following on Friday, August 15, 2025. Interment will take place at Goodspring Mennonite Church Cemetery.
Carr and Erwin Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Eric will be deeply missed and remembered by all who knew and loved him.
