Fredrick Leon “Freddy” Butler, 74, of Florence, passed away on January 8, 2025, at his residence. He was a retired employee of NAFCO. He is survived by his sons, Dale Butler and Duane Butler, his daughter, Melanie McWilliams (Harlan), his brother, O.L. Butler, and his sisters, Brenda Pettus and Patricia Newton (Alfred). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Brent Butler and Andy Hughes officiating. He will be laid to rest in Shiloh Cemetery. Fredrick will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
