Marvin Wayne “Bubba” Cook, 59, of Pulaski, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, January 17th, 2025, at Ascension St. Thomas Midtown in Nashville, Tennessee. Born on July 24th, 1965, in Covington, Tennessee, Bubba was known for his love of family, music, and humor. He enjoyed spending time with loved ones, playing guitar, watching the history channel, and studying the Bible. Bubba was also a devoted TN Vols fan and had a special affection for his dog, Coda.
Visitation will be held from 12:00pm until 1:00pm on Tuesday, January 21st, 2025, at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory, followed by a funeral service at 1:00pm in the chapel with Bro. Mark Johnson officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Bennett May to assist with funeral expenses.
Bubba is survived by his sisters Judy Little, Shelia Chandler, Suzette (Robert) Chumley, and Diane Henson, as well as his brothers Scott (Jennifer) Cook and Bo Lackey. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Bubba was preceded in death by his parents, Linda and Ed Lance and Bobby and Lucy Cook, as well as his brothers Joey Lance and Shannon Lackey.
