Michael Joey Hardin, age 64, of Summertown, TN, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. He was a self-employed native of Lawrenceburg, TN, and a proud member of Ethridge Church of Christ. Mr. Hardin served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force and had a passion for flying airplanes and helicopters, riding motorcycles, listening to music, and martial arts.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Betsy Hardin; one daughter, Anna Lundy; one son, Harley Hardin; and one grandchild on the way, Baby Lundy. He is also survived by his brother, Andy Hardin, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and a plethora of extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at Ethridge Church of Christ. Funeral services will be conducted at Ethridge Church of Christ at 1:00 PM on Monday, January 27, 2025, with interment to follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN with full military honors.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the charity of your choice. Condolences may be sent through the funeral home’s website at www.nealfuneralhome.net. Michael will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
