Oscar Flatt, 81, of Loretto, TN, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at NAMC. He was a native of Lawrence Co, TN, and had a successful career as a truck driver, retiring from the City of Loretto. A graveside service will be held at Bishop Chapel Cemetery on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at 3:00 pm, with Brock Kilburn officiating.
Oscar is survived by his daughters, Cynthia Moore (Mike Hughes) of Revilo, TN, and Tammy Moore (Scott) of Five Points, TN. He is also survived by his brothers, Jerry Flatt (Brenda) and Randy Flatt (Pam), both of Loretto, TN, and his sisters, Dorothy Dollar (Louie), Ivalene Smith, Faye Johns, all of Loretto, TN, and Idell Elkins of Leoma, TN. He is also survived by his three granddaughters, Tia Brooke Moore, Kerstin Williams (Cordale), and Kaleigh McGee (Trevor), and his great-granddaughter, Oaklynn Williams, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Oscar was preceded in death by his parents, Luther & Mertie Dover Flatt, and his siblings, Fred Flatt, Alton Flatt, Carl Flatt, and Ruby Campbell.
Arrangements are being handled by LORETTO MEMORIAL CHAPEL.
