Patricia Annette Crabb, age 83, of Florence, AL, passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Renaissance Assisted Living. She was a retired Engineering Aid with Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant and a devoted member of 1st Baptist Church Loretto. Patricia was a native of Lauderdale Co, AL, and her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at 2:00 pm, with Clayton Wilbanks officiating. Burial will follow in Restview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on the same day at Loretto Memorial Chapel.
Patricia is survived by her daughter, Lynn Schmauder (Craig) of Springfield, VA; her brother, Harvey Springer of Florence, AL; daughter-in-law, Debbie Crabb; and six grandchildren: Chris, Austin, and Jordan from Jim, and Mary, Jamie, and Jill from Lynn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Turner and Maudie Lou Springer; her son, Jim Crabb; her brother, Morgan Springer; and sisters, Lois Davis and Audrey Sandy.
Honorary pallbearers will be the 1958 State Champion Lady Mustangs. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Saint Jude Children’s Hospital.
Patricia’s kindness, love, and dedication will be deeply missed by her family and friends. May she rest in peace.
