Lynda Annette Kropff, age 77, of Waynesboro, TN, passed away on Wednesday, May 7th, 2025 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. Lynda was born on February 29th, 1948 to the late Arthur and Dorothy Tomerlin in Homestead, FL. She worked for many years in civil service at various Air Force Bases before retiring in Waynesboro, TN. Lynda enjoyed reading, camping, and spending time with her loving family and friends. She was of Church of God faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Kropff; daughter, Rhonda L. Yaeger; and brother, Arthur “Harry” Tomerlin. She is survived by her children, Leah Coates (Larry) and Lewis Dowell (Liberty); grandchildren, Alex, Ryan, Greg, Dillon, and William; and great-grandchildren, Franklin, David, Charley, Lily, and Dean.
Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Monday, May 12th, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Graveside Services will be held at Bumpas Cemetery on Monday, May 12th, 2025 beginning at 3:30 p.m. Interment will be held at Bumpas Cemetery. Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be handling all final arrangements.
