Robert D. “Bobby” Tidwell, 60, of Florence, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at his residence. He was preceded in death by his father, James Dillon Tidwell. Bobby is survived by his mother, Janice Tidwell; sisters, Pam Powers (Gary) and Vicki Yarber (Joey); nephews and niece, Chris (Casey) and Trent (Kelli) Stewart, Matthew, Jordan (Kaitlyn), and Kaitlyn Wilson; great nieces and nephews, Esther and Ernie Stewart, Dillon Wilson, Paislee Parker, and A.J. Burbank.
Bobby was a 1983 graduate of Brooks High School and a graduate of University of North Alabama. He retired from UPS and was known for his avid support of Auburn. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Elkins East Chapel from 12:30-2 PM, with the funeral service to follow in the chapel. Burial will take place at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
