Janice Tidwell, 91, of Killen, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at her residence. She was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church Killen. Janice was preceded in death by her husband, James Dillon Tidwell; son, Robert D. “Bobby” Tidwell; parents, Waylon and Cecil Olive; and sister, Peggy Spears. She is survived by her daughters, Pam Powers (Gary) and Vicki Yarber (Joey); grandchildren, Chris Stewart (Casey), Trent Stewart (Kelli), Matthew, Jordan (Kaitlyn), and Kaitlyn Wilson; great-grandchildren, Esther and Ernie Stewart, Dillon Wilson, Paislee Parker, and AJ Burbank; and brother, Stanley Olive (Vivian). The visitation will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 11 AM to 1 PM at Elkins East Chapel, with the funeral service to follow in the chapel. The burial will take place at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. The service will be officiated by Stan Pruitt and David McKelvey. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
