Despite the impending road closures, businesses in downtown will continue to operate as usual. Starting today, October 3rd at 1:30 PM, North Military Avenue will be temporarily blocked off in preparation for the 75th Anniversary Celebration organized by the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce.
During this time, patrons will still have access to parking on the square, and the sidewalks will remain open, allowing easy access to all establishments located along North Military. The road closures are scheduled to last through Thursday and Friday, with plans to reopen the thoroughfare on Saturday morning.
The Chamber of Commerce is deeply committed to supporting the local small business community and is eager to honor their achievements during this milestone celebration.
