Lawrenceburg Rotary Club Honors Local High School Students

The Lawrenceburg Rotary Club held its regular meeting on May 1, 2026, at Lawrenceburg Rotary Park, where it recognized outstanding high school students and announced its annual scholarship recipients. This event celebrated the achievements of local students and their significant contributions to the community.

Among those honored was Breleigh Winters from Loretto High School, who received the Excellence Scholarship worth $1,500. Anna Kate Cheatham, also from Loretto High School, was awarded the Legacy Scholarship of $1,000. Additionally, Aubrey Suratt from Loretto High School and Andrew Mabry from Summertown High School each received a Fellowship Scholarship of $750.

The Rotary Club further awarded Service Scholarships of $500 each to several students, including Kaden Pennington, Jonathan Boyd, Emma Tidwell, Jaden Aaron, Taylor Schuelke, and Andrew Busby. These scholarships recognize the hard work and dedication of students in their academic and extracurricular pursuits.

The students were celebrated by their school principals, who acknowledged their achievements and potential. President Maria Santini congratulated each student and expressed appreciation for their efforts and future promise.
