Decatur Man Captured by Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit

According to the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, a man from Decatur has been arrested on a staggering total of 35 warrants. The individual, identified as 45-year-old Calvin Dwayne Frye, was taken into custody by the Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit on Wednesday, April 30th. Reports indicate that Frye allegedly refused to vacate a residence, prompting deputies to secure a search warrant to proceed with the arrest.

Frye is facing a variety of serious charges, including Driving with a Revoked License, Attempting to Steal Property or Possess Burglary Tools, and multiple counts of failing to appear in court. Specifically, he has charges for Assault and Identity Theft, along with an overwhelming 31 counts related to Negotiating Worthless Instruments. Following his arrest, Frye was booked into the Morgan County Jail, where he is being held on bonds totaling $23,857.43.
