Law enforcement agents from the Lauderdale County Drug Task Force conducted a search at two residences in Florence on Tuesday. The addresses targeted were 2001 Midway St and 106 Blair St. During the search, authorities discovered marijuana and around 240 fentanyl pills, weighing approximately 24 grams. Additionally, agents found various drug paraphernalia indicative of drug distribution activities.
Following the search, Napoleon Ragland, a 51-year-old resident of Florence, was taken into custody. Ragland now faces charges related to trafficking in fentanyl, unlawful possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The collaborative effort involved in this operation included the Florence/Lauderdale Special Operations Team, Florence Police Department, Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office, Lauderdale County District Attorney’s Office, and the DEA.
