On Wednesday, Huntsville Police responded to a report of a potential home invasion occurring on Triana Avenue. Upon their arrival, officers discovered that the homeowner was safe and unharmed. It was revealed that an armed intruder had entered the residence, brandishing a firearm and demanding cash. However, when the homeowner declined to meet the suspect’s demands, the assailant made a hasty retreat, fleeing the scene on a bicycle.
Law enforcement quickly identified the suspect, a 17-year-old male, and he was subsequently apprehended. Following his arrest, he was taken to the Madison County Jail, where he faces serious charges, including first-degree burglary.
