In Colbert County, an investigation is currently underway following a dispute between two family members in Tuscumbia over the weekend. The Times Daily has reported that emergency responders were called to a residence on Hidden Hollow Road on Sunday just after 8 PM in response to a reported stabbing incident.
Upon reaching the scene, deputies from the Colbert County Sheriff’s Department discovered the victim, who had sustained multiple stab wounds. The suspect, identified as Christopher Drew Dawson, was apprehended later that same evening upon his return to the location of the altercation.
The victim, in critical condition, was swiftly airlifted to Huntsville Hospital for urgent medical attention to address the injuries sustained during the altercation.
