The arrests occurred on Friday, May 9th, when officers apprehended 20-year-old Javon Hargrove. He faces serious charges, including four counts of child endangerment, three counts of aggravated child abuse, and manslaughter.
On the same day, Denise Derrick was also taken into custody. She has been charged with four counts of child endangerment and two counts of aggravated child abuse. Following their arrests, both Hargrove and Derrick were transported to Colbert County Jail. Hargrove is currently being held on a bond set at $100,000.
