Lawrence County Government is set to introduce new mobile convenience drop-off locations for garbage and recyclables starting this upcoming Tuesday. These sites aim to provide residents in remote areas with a convenient option for disposing of items without the need to travel into Lawrenceburg.
Operating exclusively between the hours of 6 and 10 a.m., the mobile drop-off sites will rotate locations throughout the week. On Tuesdays, the site will be stationed at the Loretto Wastewater Treatment facility on Busby Road. Wednesdays will see the mobile site at the West End Community Center on Old Waynesboro Highway, while Thursdays will feature it at the New Prospect Fire Hall.
In addition to drop-off services, individuals visiting these sites will have the opportunity to acquire county recycling garbage bags for their use. This initiative aims to streamline waste management processes and enhance accessibility for all Lawrence County residents.
