During the recent winter weather event, Lawrence County EMS was called upon to respond to 172 requests for assistance. Over the period from January 15th to January 22nd, the EMS team made 100 transports and provided 27 public assists. Additionally, there were 17 refusals and 28 cancellations during this time.
The challenging conditions brought about by the winter storm made some of the responses more difficult and resulted in longer response times. However, despite these obstacles, Lawrence County EMS managed to respond to all calls in a timely and safe manner.
