Hortensia Sanchez, age 81, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Saturday, February 3rd, 2024 at Tri Star Southern Hills in Nashville, TN. She was a faithful member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was originally from Miami, FL and was born on July 21st, 1942 in Havana, Cuba. Throughout her life, she worked as a dental assistant as well as an elementary school cafeteria attendant. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing and spending time with her grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Jose Abelardo Sanchez; Parents, Alberto and Victoria Behar; Sisters, Susana Franco and Ester Garcia; Brother, Ruben Behar.
She is survived by her Son, Albert Dominguez (Jenny Duque); Daughter, Ana Margarita Micheli; Sisters, Rosa Behar and Raquel Behar; Grandchildren, Eric, Freddy, Ruben, David, and Kalla; Great Granddaughter, Abigail; Several Nieces and Nephews; Step Children, Christian and Julianna.
Visitation for Ms. Hortensia Sanchez will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Friday, February 9th, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. with the Memorial Service to follow at 5:00 p.m.
Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home is in charge of handling all final arrangements.
