Huntsville Police Shut Down Unlawful Gambling Ring

In the early hours of Tuesday, the SWAT team from the Huntsville Police Department carried out a search warrant at a residence located on 7th Avenue, leading to the disruption of an illegal gambling operation. During the operation, law enforcement officials confiscated a total of 21 hard drives from various gambling machines. Additionally, they recovered two firearms, a quantity of marijuana, and an assortment of drug paraphernalia.

As a result of this operation, a 59-year-old man named Robert Lorenzo Gray, Jr. was taken into custody. He faces multiple charges, including promoting gambling, possession of gambling records, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The police action underscores ongoing efforts to combat illegal gambling activities in the area.
