Anita Jan Laurence Clemons, 66, of Lexington, passed away March 24, 2024, at North Alabama Medical Center. She was a lifelong resident of Lexington, AL, a member of Lexington Fire & Rescue Squad and a Presbyterian. The joy of her life was a 4 pound Chihuahua named Lilly, who protected her from everyone except Granny.

Mother: Twyla Lee Eddy Laurence
Brother: Randy Laurence (Debbie)
Nephew: Shane Laurence (Jennifer)
Nieces: Haley Laurence Wielham (Blake) & Tammy Laurence
Preceded in death by:
Father: Bobby Lynn Laurence
Nephew: Jason Laurence
Grandparents: L.C. & Estell Laurence; Lee & Lilly Eddy
Visitation will be on Thursday, March 28, 2024, from 11:00am – 1:00pm, at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm, in the funeral home chapel, with Dino Atkins officiating. Burial will be at Nebo Cemetery, Lexington, AL.
Pallbearers will be: Shane Laurence, Blake Wilhelm, Ricky Ritter, Bobby Howard, Butch Danley & Richard Steen.
Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
