Brenda Dean Boshers, 65, of Summertown, TN, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, June 5, 2025. Born to the late Charles Ray Hulsey and Nadine Moore, Brenda was the only girl among her three brothers. She cherished the tranquility of nature, often finding solace in watching birds and adorning her surroundings with sunflowers.
Brenda was a devoted Nana who longed for grandchildren and had a deep affection for animals. She was a passionate Alabama football fan and enjoyed watching games between Alabama and Tennessee. Her kindness and warmth endeared her to many in the community.
Brenda is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Ricky Boshers; daughter, Vanessa Dale (Matthew); granddaughters, Gracelyn Dale and Ashlyn Dale; brother, Royce Hulsey (Annette); stepson, Rick Boshers; stepdaughter, Deranda Boshers; and a host of cherished neighbors and friends. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Teddy and Ray.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at noon, officiated by Bro. Jacob Dale. Brenda will be laid to rest in John Lay Cemetery in Ethridge, TN. Brenda’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
