Brenda Rai Wright Putman, 82, of Killen, AL, passed away on November 4, 2025, after a brief illness. Brenda was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was born in Nashville, TN and was a faithful member of the Church of Christ.
Brenda is survived by her sons: Barrie Wade Putman (Tammy), Darin Todd Putman, and Jared Clay Putman (Belinda); her brother, Roy “Bud” Wright of Hendersonville, TN; 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Barrie Loyd Putman; her parents, Roy Faulkner Wright and Margaret Elizabeth Denton Wright; and her sister, Robbye Jean Pickett.
A private family service will be held at a later date, with Greenhill Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Brenda will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
