Daniel Grant Fairchild, 46, of Pulaski, Tennessee, passed away on January 12th, 2025 at his home in Giles County. Born on July 8th, 1978 in Meridian, Mississippi, Grant was a beloved husband, father, and dedicated Director of Sports Medicine at Martin Methodist College, now known as UT Southern.
Grant’s passion for helping others was evident in his work with students and players, whom he treated as his own. He was known for his vibrant personality and love for life, always striving to make a positive impact on those around him. Grant also had the privilege of working with the Special Olympics, further demonstrating his commitment to serving others.
He is survived by his wife, Alicia Beth Glover Fairchild, his son Parker Harbison, and his daughter Madison Harbison. Grant is also survived by his mother, Bonnie Sue Fairchild, his brothers John Wayne Fairchild and Edward Ford Fairchild, and a large extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16th, 2025 at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory, followed by a memorial service in the chapel. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
Daniel Grant Fairchild will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
