Bobby Gene Clemmons, 86, of Lynnville, TN, passed away on Tuesday, January 14th, 2025 at his residence. He was born in Giles County, TN on March 24th, 1938. Bobby was a proud Marine Corps veteran who served in Vietnam as a civilian working on helicopters. He was a business owner in the steel fabrication industry and enjoyed the countryside, sporting events, golf, and was an avid Auburn fan. Bobby also cherished his trips to Hawaii and was a Mason.
He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Clemmons Glover, son Gregg (Tammie) Clemmons, brother Barry (Lynette) Clemmons, grandson Brent (Kelly) Glover, great-grandchildren Emma and Baylen Glover, as well as numerous in-laws, family, and friends.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Villard Thomas and Lera Blade Clemmons, brother Fred Clemmons, sisters Geneva Grammer Burks and Hellon Howell, and great-grandson Bentley Wayne Glover.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 17th, 2025 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory, followed by a funeral service at 1:00pm in the chapel. The burial will take place at Scotts Hill Cemetery.
