Danise McDonald, 87, of Ethridge, TN, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at her home. She was a homemaker and a devoted member of the Methodist faith. Danise was a native of Lawrence County, TN. Funeral services will be held at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 3:00 pm, with Art McCormack officiating. Burial will follow in Mars Hill Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on the same day at Loretto Memorial Chapel.
Danise is survived by her two sons, David McDonald (Pat) of Summertown, TN, and Danny McDonald (Susan) of Ethridge, TN, and her three daughters, Jane Boucher, June Laws (Sam), and Janet Kelton (John), all of Ethridge, TN. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles McDonald, her sisters Era Lee Jennings and Nora Carvell, her daughter Joan McDonald, and her grandchildren Adam Holden and David Kelton.
The pallbearers will be Wayne Hamm, Marty Pugh, Zack Frost, Tony Cobb, Garrett Holloway, and Timothy Pugh. Tyler Holloway and Cory Pugh will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Danise will be remembered for her love and dedication to her family and her unwavering faith. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
