David Franklin Hargrove, age 87, of Pulaski, passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at NHC Pulaski. Born on December 9, 1937, in Prospect, TN, to Marion Calvin Hargrove and Mary Lou Southerland Hargrove, David was a dedicated truck driver for the Pulaski Street Department and a devoted member of Pleasant Hill Methodist Church. He had a passion for working on tractors, lawnmowers, hunting, fishing, and took great pride in watching his grandson play ball.
David is preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Mary Lou Hargrove, as well as his sisters Rachel Holder, Sarah George, Paulette Boldin, and brothers Calvin Hargrove, Jr., James Benford Hargrove, Wayne Southerland Hargrove, and Bobby Joe Hargrove.
Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1pm on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
David is survived by his wife, Carolyn Hargrove of Pulaski; daughter Wendy Hargrove Haney (Daniel) of Pulaski; grandson Hagan Holland Haney; brother Jimmy Hargrove (Shirley) of Pulaski; sisters Angeline Strange of Madison, Katherine Robison of Pulaski, Wanda Hamley of Toney, AL; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Carr and Erwin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. David will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
