David Michael Waybright, 72, of Prospect, TN, passed away on Tuesday, June 17th, 2025 at his home. Born on June 22nd, 1952, Dave was the beloved son of the late Jessie Luke Waybright and Rhoda Baxter McCartney in Butler, PA. He was a dedicated educator, starting as an Art Teacher at Redbird Missionary School in Beverly, KY, and later becoming an Art Professor at The University of North Florida and Martin-Methodist College in Pulaski. Dave also served as the Pastor at Prospect Southern Methodist Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Jenny Waybright; children, Joy, Jonathan, Jaron (Shaynie), and Jeffrey (Ania); grandchildren, great-granddaughter, brother, and numerous relatives and friends. A visitation and funeral service will be held at Prospect Southern Methodist Church on Saturday, June 21st, 2025. Dave will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
