Eleanor Jane Bates Carroll, 81, of Loretto, TN, passed away at NAMC on March 5, 2024. Jane was a retired Hairdresser and Licensed Instructor in Cosmetology and a longtime member of Loretto Methodist Church.
Jane is survived by:
Son: Jeff Quillen (Rhonda Marks Quillen)
Daughter: Tonya Golden Johns
Sister: Margarett Ann Killen
Grandchildren: Nicholas Andrew Quillen (Callie), Melissa Renee Quillen Huntley (Matthew), and Steven Andrew Johns
Great-grandchildren: Landon Eli Brown and Scarlett Athena Quillen
She was preceded in death by:
Parents: Homer Andrew Bates and Elsie Thornton Bates
Husband: James Leo “Jim” Carroll
Visitation will be Sunday, March 17, from 4:00-6:00 P.M. at Loretto Methodist Church. The Memorial Service will follow at 6:00 P.M. in the church with Rev. Jeff Jacob officiating.
In lieu of flowers, Jane requested that all her friends donate a pint of blood to a blood bank in her memory. Also, you can donate to the Eleanor Jane Carroll Scholarship Fund at First Farmers & Merchants Bank in Jane’s honor.
