Eleanor Corinne Ciborowski, nee Burns, passed away peacefully at the age of almost 100. Born on a family farm in Bodenham, TN, Corinne lived a life filled with love, adventure, and dedication to her family and community. She was a devoted wife to LT Mitchell Ciborowski and a loving mother to her four children. Corinne’s career included roles as an administrator at Bel Air High School and as a civil servant at Edgewood Arsenal. After retiring, she and Mitchell enjoyed traveling and playing bridge, creating cherished memories in Europe and beyond.
Corinne’s passion for her hometown community was evident in her involvement with the Bodenham Community Club and local garden clubs. She was instrumental in securing a grant for the Bodenham fitness trail and worked tirelessly to raise funds for the Bodenham Community Center. Her dedication was honored when the club named the adjacent garden “Corinne’s Garden.” An avid gardener, Corinne’s independent and adventurous spirit endeared her to all who knew her.
Corinne is survived by her children Linda (Richard), Philip (Jo Carol), 6 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Mitchell and two of her children, Steven and Susan. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19th, 2025, at Bennett-May & Pierce funeral home in Pulaski, followed by a graveside service at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Pulaski. Corinne will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
