Emily Glass Fife, a beloved member of the Lawrence County community, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025, to be with Jesus. She was a devoted member of Dunn Methodist Church and a native of Lawrence County, Tennessee.
Emily is survived by her sisters Mable Mosley and Ruthie Glass, as well as several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her niece Deanna Boston, parents L.G. and Evelyn Glass, and sister Linda Robertson.
Emily leaves behind a legacy of love and family, including her four children Tricia (David) Waller, Gretchen (Johnnie) Vaughn, Karol (Joey) Hall, and Patrick (Mary) Fife. She also leaves behind six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, who will cherish her memory.
The family extends their gratitude to all who supported and assisted Emily, especially her neighbors, church family, and Barbara Damascus. They also express their appreciation to Caris and NHC Home Health, as well as Kelly and Shonda for their compassion over the years.
Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Saturday, May 10th, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service officiated by Brother Glenn Sharpton and Luke Vaughn. Interment will take place at Dunn Methodist Cemetery.
Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home is honored to handle all final arrangements. Emily will be dearly missed by all who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
