Teresa Ann Thomson, 68, of Saint Joseph, TN, passed away on August 26, 2025, at NHC Healthcare Scott in Lawrenceburg, TN. Born in Olivet, MI, Teresa was a former employee of Forsythe Painting. She found joy in crocheting, creating garments for children, and engraving glass. Her love for her family, grandson, and her beloved pets was immeasurable.
Teresa is survived by her two sons, Jamie Thomson (Misty) and Donnie Thomson; her grandson, Owen Thomson; her fiance, Jim Peregoy; her brother, Jim DeGroot; and her sisters, Deb Larimer and Christe Hansen. She was preceded in death by her father, Merle DeGroots, and mother, Ann Hickok Allen.
The family will receive friends at Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, on Saturday, September 06, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 PM, with Kerry Shopher officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Bosworth Cemetery in Walton Township, MI.
Teresa will be dearly missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
