George Danley “Dan” Prince, Sr., age 74, of Maysville, GA, passed away on August 20, 2025. Born on July 2, 1951, in Lawrenceburg, TN, Dan was a devoted member of Maysville Baptist Church. He found joy in fishing, hunting, woodworking, and riding motorcycles, but his greatest pleasure came from spending time with his beloved grandchildren.
Dan is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Linda Wilson Prince, his daughter Julie Jones, and his son Robert Jeremiah Prince, Sr. He also leaves behind nineteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, numerous cherished nieces and nephews, and his brother Dean Martin.
Preceding him in death were his mother, Christine Prince, his sons George Danley “Danny” Prince, Jr., and Stephen Danley Prince, his son-in-law Miquel Jones, and three brothers, Ronnie Martin, David Prince, and Ricky Prince.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home in Lawrenceburg, TN, with funeral services to follow on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. A memorial service will also be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Maysville Baptist Church in Maysville, GA.
Dan will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched. May he rest in peace.
