Gladys Ann Krick Green, 94, of Killen, AL, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024, at Countryside Health & Rehabilitation Center after a brief illness. Born in Loretto, TN, Gladys lived most of her life in Lauderdale County, AL. She was a dedicated homemaker and a cherished member of Bluewater Missionary Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at 3:00 pm, with Bro. James Segars and Bro. Dicky Sparks officiating. Burial will follow in Bluewater Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at Loretto Memorial Chapel.
Gladys is survived by her son, Roger Joe Green, and his wife Susan of Florence, AL; grandsons, Roger Chad Green and his wife Whitney of Rogersville, AL, and Daniel Scott Green of New York; and four sisters, Alice, Dene, Dottie, and Margie.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Charles Green; great-grandson, Bryson Cole Green; her parents, Bill and Bertha Krick; one sister, Lorene; and five brothers, Villard, Arie, Elb, Claude, and Billy.
Pallbearers will be members of New Bethel Baptist Church. A special thanks was extended to her dear friend, Leigh Anne Kidd, and to New Bethel Church for their support over the years. The family also expressed gratitude to all the caregivers Gladys had at home and to the nurses at Countryside.
Gladys will be dearly missed by all who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
