Harvey Willmyr Springer, age 89, of Florence, AL, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025, at North Alabama Medical Center. He was a native of Lauderdale Co, AL, a Veteran of the United States Army, a retired Supervisor at Reynolds, and attended North Wood United Methodist Church. Harvey is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Springer Hipps (Bradley), and granddaughter, Emma Hipps, both of Florence, AL. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Smith Springer, his parents Turner and Maudie Lou White Springer, his brother Morgan Springer, and sisters Lois Davis, Audrey Sandy, and Pat Crabb. The funeral services will be held at North Wood United Methodist Church on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 2:00 pm, with Kiki Wood Terry and Bradley Hipps officiating. Burial will follow in Restview Cemetery with military honors presented at the graveside. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Friday, December 19, 2025, at North Wood United Methodist Church. Pallbearers will be Mickey Thompson, Tommy Patt, Todd Sullivan, Chase Sullivan, Rodney Jones, and Steve Johnson. Loretto Memorial Chapel is in charge of all arrangements. Harvey will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and community.
