Imogene Dickson Garner, 94, of Ethridge, TN, passed away on January 29, 2026, at her home. She was a retired farmer and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Imogene was a member of Lawrenceburg Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Ladies Guild, and Farm Bureau Ladies Group. She enjoyed quilting, cooking, and cake decorating.
Imogene was preceded in death by her parents, John William and Vinnie Mae Blackwood Dickson; her husband, Bob Garner; daughter, Sharon Garner Andrews; son, George William Garner; two brothers, Gene Dickson and Albert Dickson; and three sisters, Thelma Dickson, Edith Flowers, and Edna Butler.
She is survived by two daughters, Rosemary Harris (Mark) and Nancy Niedergeses (Tim), both of Lawrenceburg, TN; three sons, Robert Glenn Garner (Donna), John David Garner, and Albert L. Garner, all of Ethridge, TN; nine grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Neal Funeral Home with a rosary to follow at 6:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be conducted at Lawrenceburg Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10:00 AM Monday, February 2, 2026, with Father Andrew Forsythe officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN. The family suggests memorials be made to Sacred Heart School or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
