James Kenneth Purcell, 80, of Leoma, TN, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026. A native of Lawrenceburg, TN, James was the owner of Kenneth Purcell’s Garage and a dedicated member of Leoma Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Purcell; two sons, Jeff Purcell and Scottie Purcell; one sister, Linda Hyde; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
James was preceded in death by his parents, though specific details were not provided.
Visitation will be held at Neal Funeral Home, located at 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral services will take place at the same location on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at 2:00 PM, followed by burial at Leoma Cemetery in Leoma, TN.
