Horace Eugene Bailey, 93, of Leoma, TN, passed away on May 14, 2026, after a brief illness. A native of Lawrence County, he served as a parts manager for Lloyd Carroll Motors and was a proud veteran of the United States Army, where he earned the National Defense Service Medal. Horace was a dedicated member of the Church of Christ and enjoyed a life filled with family and faith.
He is survived by his wife, Geneva Stanford Bailey; three sons; one daughter; one sister; nine grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, and several siblings.
Funeral services will be held at Loretto Memorial Chapel on May 18, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will take place on May 17, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., and again on May 18, 2026, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Following the service, he will be laid to rest at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Leoma, TN.
