Kenneth L. “Ike” Jones, 79, of Pulaski, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025, at his residence. He was born on October 16, 1945, to Ira Jr. Jones and Hilda Iverene Meyers Jones. Kenneth was a dedicated truck driver for Sharp Transport until his retirement. He had a deep passion for learning and discussing history and was known for his friendly and welcoming nature.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents Ira and Hilda, and his wife Ginger Brewington. He is also preceded in death by his sisters Sue Carter, Sharon Simon, Brenda Lamb, Minnie Shay, Deborah Bass, and Pansy Mae Jones.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11am on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Scott’s Hill Cemetery. Kenneth is survived by his sons Christian Jones of Celina, Jody Jones of Celina, and Jeffrey Brewington of Pulaski; daughter Tracy Brewington of Pulaski; sisters Hazel Wallace of Double Springs, AL, Rebecca Merritt of Endicott, NY, Carol Ann Kennedy of Arley, AL, and Lorri Graves of Lawrenceburg. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Carr and Erwin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Kenneth will be dearly missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
