Janis B. Coleman, 79, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at NHC Healthcare Scott in Lawrenceburg. Born in Hixson, TN, Janis was a retired teacher from the Lawrence County School System. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, William E. Coleman, III. At this time, per Janis’s wishes, no services will be performed. Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. To honor Janis’s memory, the family requests that flowers be sent or a tree be planted in her memory.
