JB Wilson, age 85, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Sunday, January 14th, 2024. He attended Loretto High School where he developed a love of sports that continued all throughout his life, often attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. He retired from Murray Ohio after 41 years of service and was a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his Wife, Mary Sue Wilson; Parents, James Albert and Lilly Bell Wilson; Brothers, O.J. Wilson, Gerald Wilson, James Wilson, and Austin Wilson; Sisters, Mattie Herston and Lois Johnson.
He is survived by his Stepsons, Steve Hardison and Keith Hardison (Lisa); Step Grandchildren, Jared Hardison (Danielle), Drew Hardison (Bethany), and Sarah Margaret Sain (Clint); Step Great Grandchildren, Henry Hardison, Eleanor Hardison, and Grant Hardison; Several Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation for Mr. JB Wilson be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Sunday, January 21 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with the Funeral Service to follow at 2 PM. Brother Chad Moore will be officiating.
Interment will be held at Mimosa Cemetery.
Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home is in charge of handling all final arrangements.
