Johnnie Bruce Ferrell, 84, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on June 20, 2024. Bruce was a retired Plant Manager and Truck Driver. He was a native of Loretto, TN.
Bruce enjoyed restoring old cars, NASCAR, woodworking, fishing, the Tennessee Volunteers, and especially spending time with his family.
Bruce is survived by:
Wife: Karen Ann Ferrell
Sons: Dennis Posey of Florence, AL & Johnny Ferrell of Knoxville, TN
Daughters: Nancy Rodriguez and husband Jim of Elkhart, IN; Vicki Lynne Ferrell of Greenhill, AL; and Tracy Posey and husband Jimmy Sledge of Florence, AL
Sister: Carolyn Ferrell
(13) Grandchildren and (12) Great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by:
Parents: John Henry Ferrell and Nellie Dee Killen Ferrell
Son: Michael Ferrell
Daughter: Patricia Ferrell
Brother: Brock Ferrell
Sister: Agnes Ferrell
There will be a private family service for Bruce to be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Lauderdale County Animal Shelter in Bruce’s memory.
